I1) Introduce Google Docs unit. Pass out vocabulary.
2) Go over vocabulary together in class.
3) Students create digital flashcards with their vocabulary words.
Week 2
Week of January 12th - January 16th
I1) Flashcard check - show Mrs. Brister your finished flashcards to receive credit.
2) Introduce Fictional Essay. Distribute topics and go over the directions.
3) Students work on assignment the remainder of class. Due at the end of next week's class period.
Week 3
Week of January 21st - January 23rd
I1) Flashcard check - show Mrs. Brister your finished flashcards to receive credit.
2) Take Quiz

Week 4
Week of January 27 - January 30th
I1) Begin Google Docs Mystery Story using the given prompts. Follow the parameters to set up and format your essay.
Week 5
Week of February 3rd - February 7th
I1) Complete Google Docs Mystery Story
2) Check for capitalization, punctuation, and spelling.
3) Print and share with the class
4) Turn in to the teacher.
Week 6
Week of February 9th - February 13th
I1) Students will do a Google search to complete the President's Day WebQuest.
2) Students will choose a president to complete the President's Day Spotlight.

MONDAY - PRESIDENT'S DAY
TUESDAY - Begin Google Docs unit! Distribute vocabulary. Go over together. Students highlight those terms that will be tested on. Students may highlight these words. If time allows, have students choose a partner. Each team draws a topic for a fictional mystery. Collaborate and begin to write one line each taking turns until the story evolves or mystery is solved.
WEDNESDAY - Continue to work on mysteries.
THURSDAY - Complete mysteries. Begin to present them.
FRIDAY - Review for Google Docs quiz with Blooket game. Presenting more stories. Quiz next Tuesday!
Week 26
Week of February 24th - February 28th
MONDAY - Finish reading aloud mysteries if needed. Review for quiz tomorrow.
TUESDAY - Google Docs Quiz. Free time following quiz.
WEDNESDAY - Begin Google Slides unit. Distribute vocabulary. Go over together those words that will be tested on. Students may highlight these words.
THURSDAY - Work on Google Slides project.
FRIDAY - Work on Google Slides project.
Week 27
Week of March 3rd - March 7th
MONDAY - Submit Google Slides project.
TUESDAY - Review Google Slides for Quiz tomorrow.
WEDNESDAY - Take Quiz. Free Time!
THURSDAY - Last day with Mrs. Brister! 🥺😠Let's go outside, weather-permitting!
FRIDAY - Out for Spring Break!
